the year of the rat has arrived. and my father's zodiac is rat too. hopefully he will have a good year. right, so CNY has come and the mood for celebration wasn't really there as we are having our attachment. therefore, not much time to prepare for the new year. missed out on bbq pork (bak gua). didn't bought it.

so yea, on wednesday. our attachment ended in a 1/2 day schedule. went back home to get some sleep b4 going off for reunion dinner at my auntie's place. greeted each other and saw lots of changes among them. either is slim down or gain weight. surprisingly there's only the same relatives here. and the rest were on overseas. the place was quiet than last year. oh ya, we also celebrated Ah Ye's birthday. (grandfather). he's 83 yrs old now and still going strong. after tossing the yusheng, we started eating the main dish. delicious home made food. especially the duck meat. though i was shy to take more. so yea, after dinner, we socialised abit and went back home.

back at home. i decided to try to stay awake till the wee hours of the morning. so called a superstition (shou ye) or whatever you call it. the longer you stay awake, the vitality of the family extends that kinda. but i couldn't endure any longer. was like wanting to close my eyes and force it to open. even football could be so much a bore to me. haha. slept at 5plus in the morning.

and today, we left for my mother's to bai nian. it was more heartwarming there. cause i'm much more closer to my mother's side. and my cousin brought his gf over too. a hong kong girl. yea, definitely pretty. haha. glad to see them so lovely tgt.

so ya, went back home. and calculated my ang paos. total i got was like $350. i decided to dump the money into my bank. prolly adding my savings inside too. cause my mother was like lecturing me that my savings are going down so fast. haha.
